Howdy. Does anybody have a link to the thread that had all the traits and their triggers for generals in m2tw? I'd swear I had the link before, but it's gone now and I can't find it. The four times I've tried unpacking my game required a clean install, so I'm not trying that again. Thanks for the help.
I think Korbavelli's Prince Guide is about the most comprehensive description of traits and their triggers I have seen so far.

It concentrates on those which have an impact upon your economy but others get mentioned too.

not really clear one but gives pointers towards rares ancillaries, traits and relics.

Thanks for the replies. I loved Korvabellie's guide, it has fundamentally changed some of the facets of my governor building, but it's not a complete list of traits by any means. For ancillaries, there is this https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=77228&highlight=ancillaries&highlight=ancillaries which is fantastic, and I was almost sure I had one for traits. If someone does have it unpacked, could they post or forward me the files for traits and triggers? I simlpy can not unpack the game without breaking it.
Have you looked at the website suggested by Zarky?
I think it has a pretty complete list, though perhaps not in such a readable format.

I did look at Zarkie's link, and it was good, but I'm pretty sure it's not a complete list. There's some things mentioned in Kobavelli's guide that aren't there, it doesn't mention anti-traits and I'm fairly certain it doesn't list all of the possible causes for superstitious.

That's because Supersititious is buggy.
It *should* only happen at birth or when surviving a natural disaster, but for some reason the natural disaster trigger fires randomly. Which is also why you can get "Conforming" generals out of the blue, because ForcedReligious is also triggered by that one.
And no, I have no idea why. My guess is that the trigger is fired whenever there is a character damaged by a disaster ANYWHERE in the world.

That's a pretty awesome site for everything to do with traits, triggers and retinues. Anyone know what the story is behind it? It looks like a commercial company, but why have they gone to all the trouble of listing the inards of the M2TW traits system?
I have no idea, i think that i found it also when someone posted link about this...

the trigger should be similar like this:
when you have BANNER 2 in your ancillaries and get now BANNER 1 the BANNER 2 replace from your ancillaries. :inquisitive:
banner1 replaced banner 2 :idea2:
