Beirut is going to be busy when he logs on today.
Let us all have a moment of silence for the supremely wonderfully awesome moderators who keep this excellent forum clean of rubbish, drivel and claptrap. We owe to these moderators more that can ever be understood, it is their hard work and dedication alone that makes our lives worth living, and so, I say again, a moment of respect and reverence for our magnificent moderators.
.............................
Blatant flattery ought to keep the thread open for a few more seconds :P :horn:

I'm not sure whether to laugh, type the typical spam message and gain a Warning Point or press the report post button! However, before I do all of these things, excluding the second action, I must make an inquiry towards you Andres. Since when were you a member of the spamming alliance - it seems quite out of character?
No!! Don't show the dreaded moderators' axe of DOOM!! With that in the wrong hands this thread could be closed quicker than a walrus can change a lightbulb!... no wait... that would take millions of years of evolution...
Quicker than fairly quick, but not quite as fast as instantly!

Warning point? Um... that sounds ominous... what are they exactly?

Warning points are a nasty punishments inflicted upon members by the staff for doing incorrect things. They automatically steal your signature for a few days and remove your ability to edit posts, but, after thirty-one long days and nights, they become inactive and their threat is destroyed.
However, if a member has three active warning points at once, then they are automatically demoted to their previous rank for three days. In the case of Members, they become Junior Members and in the case of Senior Members, they just become normal Members. If five are active at any one time, then a ban is inflicted upon them for four long and exhausting days.

Oooh cripes... don't like the sound of them :sweatdrop: What sort of things do they get given out for?
And what exactly do you mean by "They automatically steal your signature"? Does it just disapear, or does it get a shameful message put into it?

Oooh cripes... don't like the sound of them :sweatdrop: What sort of things do they get given out for?Anything that breaks the rules really - spam, indecent exposure in the Babe Thead, flaming and trolling are the most common reasons for their imposure. However, often, the moderators are very kind, especially if it is your first offence, and let you off with a formal caution, which is basically a record in your file, but no action is taken.

Leave it open. Please, God, leave it open. It'll be so freakin' embarrassing.

It's the Dark Side... Sometimes I cannot resist.

I'll accept the axe. Make it quick and swift and gentle as well.
My last wish will be: a zyrtec (http://www.zyrtec.com/), since I'm allergic to axes...
