When do we get changed into Knights or Medieval stuff. Like right now I'm a Samuri hero. I'd like to be a german knight. PROUD OF MY BAVARIAN HERETEGE.

Probably after MTW comes out and the org staff can get all the icons needed to update. If they will at all now that Anssi has retired.

We might have to be samurai stuck in a medieval european world.

It will be done but all in good time, ideally nearly before or after MTW release.

Right now, the org staff has other things to adress but you are right to mention it.

Because of the different cultures involved in MTW and the truckload of different units, the choices of what to select as icons, Will be less easy than with Shogun.

That's an interesting question. I'm sure there would be some patrons interested in keeping their Japanese names and icons. I'm sure these issues will be addressed soon.

i personally will be scottish cause of my heritage but i think mongols should be an option casue they took over parts of europe

With a thousand odd general portraits I don't think we will have a shortage.

I would base the system on a deck of cards ie

peasant, captain, princess, king, ace? (pope, mullah ... holy man, or maybe historical figure like El Cid)

I do hope their is a motley fool as well... I wouldn't mind something along those lines.

well that pretty much covers it but i guess u could start out as peasant or barbarian and work ur way up..and if u can when people register for this forum u could have them put their country/empire and go from there

we should get a choice of what icons we get, like we should all start at 0 posts (maybe not, lol) but for very 50 or so (how ever many posts to get new icon) we get like 5, 6, 10 lol icons to choose from as our new icon, each one being maybe the same type of soilder or close to it but from a diff country, what do u think?
