Here's a couple of shots from my Jaffa battle last night - had a crash just as the Saracens attacked, so had to re-run it. Won, but while I wasn't looking one unit of foot knights got out of the shiled wall and got slaughtered, though they accounted for almost 4 to 1 casualties.

The pics show my shield wall set up outside the gates - the enemy just couldn't breach it and charges by mounted and foot knights would smash up any concerted attack.

Just a quick question, how did you find the enemy sprites? ...say particularly the Cav and Camels?

I think for the sheer scale of the game and the number of units, the sprites are great. I'd like to be able to get closer (the star and slash keys just don't seem to get me close enough to the ground to feel like I'm in the battle) to see more detail and sometimes I find the infantry sprites hard to tell apart - particularly when they are dead!

But the horses' legs move, the little riders hack, slash and prod, so all over I think the graphics are great.

I'll post some more pics if I get a chance to convert the tga files.
