View Full Version : The Best of the Worst AND the Worst of the Best
It could possibly depend on different situations and these can be discussed if required. Let us first simply holistically regard the question at hand and see what we shall come up with:
worst of best > best of worst: true or false?

CR
depends on your definition of best and worst and the amount of possible choices.
If you have one choice only, the best and the worst are the same.:beam:
If you have, say, 30 choices and you define the best as the top 10 and the worst as the lowest ten, then the worst of the best is > the best of the worst, however, applying the same rules to only 15 choices makes the worst of the best < the best of the worst, however some choices would be in both lists.
So if the two values best and worst have to be seperate and non redundant, then yes, the worst of the best > the best of the worst.
