Freezing Problem

whenever I capture about 6 cities on a campain, i cannot play more than 10 minutes on that campain without my computer freezing. im pretty sure i installed everything right, and i dont think my computer is the problem. i have the .81a version right now. i didn't see any new updates besides that loin cloth on the barbarians one.
