Holy Land

Hi, I was just wondering what the advantages, if any, are, if you are in possession of the Holy land, does anyone know?

Same old thing. Living in the "promised land" means you are in the godly garden and will thus ascend rapidly into the bosom of heaven when you die. And die you will, since all thy neighbors will want to put your head on a pike and eat your brains with some fava beans and a nice Chianti.

And since when is that old, dusty patch of arid wasteland considered the "promised land" anyways? If THAT was the ideal homeland, I'd hate to see where they lived before! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/eek.gif

But, anybody who has ever been there will tell you this: the Holey Land brings out the best in you... the best crusader... the best jihadi... whatever... (semantics!) GAH!

I don't really think having the Holy Land is an advantage. It's really kind of a curse. I say this because your probably gonna have a Crusade called on ya and all of Caholic Europe is bearing down on ya. On the other hand, if your Christian and have the Holy Land, your asking for a Jihad, and that's not much different.

It seems there will be no advantage as CA has dumbed down Crusades so that they work anywhere in the same way.
