LOTR total war?

Hello all,
Is there an Lord of the Rings Total war? If yes is it ok with Gold Edition?
And id there an Ancient Egyptian Mod for RTW?

(Unless you are talking about the much earlier original Medieval TW game with Viking Invasion which was also called Gold)

Assuming you meant RTW Gold Edition that is normally RTW 1.5 and BI 1.6 (though you need to double check that you are patched to right level). Fourth Age Total War is for BI 1.6 see:

that is based on Tolkien's Middle-earth.

The other Lord of the Rings mod has a battle only version for RTW1.2 which you won't be able to use with Gold, they are also working on a full campaign version for the Alexander expansion (which you'd have to buy in addition to Gold). Their forum is here (http://lotrtw.com/)

No idea on the ancient egypt mod though - I think someone was proposing one but I don't remember a released mod.

LOTR - TW is also releasing a 1.5 campaign, except it won't have the features used in the campaign for Alexander.

Actually, currently there is no plan to release a 1.5 campaign map. The 1.5 version will be custom battles/multiplayer only.
