There are some other pics there as well, one with Merkel with a Hitler mustache is another classy one (sarcasm). Is this the norm in European politics? Seems kind of sexist to me, what's your opinion?

:clown: Gorgeous!
Don't know much about the rest of Europe but here in France we have a VERY strong tradition of political caricature. Sorry I can't scan some to show you.
Sexist? Maybe a bit but it can also be related with Angela Merkel's political attitudes, I don't know. Mrs Royal, our presidential loser, insisted too much sometimes on her motherly nature... and was then often drawed busty!
And gess what the twins would have sucked if the Chancelor had been a man?
Edit: I've been warned for offensive language, right, but please tell me if I deserve a warning for offensive grammar, I feel my english is worse everyday.

Very, very common. In drawing. The only unique thing here is the photoshop.
Just about every paper in the country has either one or two caricatures daily, and they're usually offensive, like Ehud Olmert posing on a balcony with a rifle, shooting at palestinians, like the concentration camp commander in schindlers list(shooting at jews though...).
I feel so offended now, gotta burn some polish flags.:laugh4:
Yes, quite common here and IMO good photoshopping.:2thumbsup:

You wouldn't get bare breasts on the cover of a mainstream magazine in the UK.

Doesn't Poland ever learn? Political cartoons of Germany only cause problems, like 1939.
August 12th, the Warsaw Post had a revealing picture of Hitler in an awkward situation with Chamberlain, Josef Stalin, in bed.
19 days later...

Murat, I think you underestimate current german's humour. And I also think the nazis did not invade Poland in order to take revenge of this caricature in 1939 too...

And it's a common known fact that Germans lack humour (or atleast proper humour)

It's a common know fact that every nation lacks humour when it comes to national "pride".
Except Belgium, of course!

When you've got as much good beer as we do, you tend to discover that pride and dignity are overrated :jester:
