View Full Version : Terrae Expugnandae - Can it be made to work "alongside" Vanilla?

I noticed that the install instructions state that it requires a clean install of RTW etc to play, and is run off of the vanilla launcher.

My question is, seeing as I play the Forth Eorlingas mod a lot, and run Vanilla with the Vanilla Balance Mod (which I enjoy as well), Is there a way to install Terrae Expugnandae so that I can play it alongside these mods with its own launcher?

TE sounds like a mod I really want to try out, but not at the expense not being able to play both Forth Eorlingas and VBM, And i'm not too sure how I would go about it. I'm sure there would be an easier way than copying my backed-up clean install to a different folder and installing TE to that, then using the Launcher from that alongside the vanilla and Forth Eorlingas launchers... Or would that not work?

Can anyone advise me please? :beam:

Hi PapaNasty,
Perhaps the mod switcher (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=171&act=down) could help you. I've never used it though, so I can't really advise. Sorry. Hope this helps, cheers!

Yep; that's the only way to play TE while keeping a Vanilla install (that is, beside copying the entire RTW file, and installing TE in the new file).
