View Full Version : enemy general suicide?
For some reason almost everytime i face an enemy army with a general in it, the enemy general will charge by himself ahead of his army right straight into my army.(roman army, i use thier historic formation, i have the settings on M/M) . Maybe its the line of hastati up front that entices the general to suicide into the line? Is there a way to stop it?

But how many charged headlong into a wall of pikes while their army stood and watched impassively? It is sort of explicable, though. Perhaps the general's men didn't like him. Perhaps he was a bit stingy on pay day, and always took the pick of the wenches after a city assault. Perhaps the general's officers assured him that they were going to charge too, but instead had their men run on the spot and shout and blow horns while he slammed into the enemy army and was swiftly despatched.
