Ok, played the demo and i have experimented a bit with the modding side of things to see how many units i could field(to a playable level) in a single battle. Basically, battles with over say 2000 units is unplayable for me on my lowly p3600,256. Looking at the latest screenshots makes me think that i am gonna have a few problems with the large battles. Anyone know if there is gonna be an option to scaled down the units on the battle field?
It would be good to have say a 3 point scale
like 33 or 66 or 100 percent of troops on the map at one time.
I would *EXPECT* there to be something like the unit size scale in Shoggy... where you can set unit size to 60, 80, 100, or 120. Doing this accomplishes what you say to some degree.
As long as that is there, we pretend we can field 2000+ in the game...

I always play 60 men setting in Shogun, and pretend that I am having 600 men per unit. So when there are only 2000 men on the battle field, I pretend that's 20,000.
Which works pretty well anyway. If you look at games like Gettysburg, one man usually represent 10-100 anyway.
