Good job. I am tempted to try to Gahzette challenge, don't think it would be too hard as long as you get the money from sacking cities on your way to Jerusalem

Then there's the way back to England....
On another note, any interested in the Poetry contest mentioned in the Mead Hall column would be better off going here. (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=87704)

Well maybe you're one of the people who need to try next month's challenge.
I can tell you, it's not easy - I tried it and lost in 6 turns...but more on that later ~:)
This issue's is the primer, so to speak.

Maybe an idea to include links to the older issues in the Gahzette anouncement posts?

Very good issue, love the numerous, game reviews!
I got a request, can you review Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45? I converted some orgahs to play the game and they love it. We should all play this instead of BF.

Hmm, the download link from the .pdf returned a 404 error for me.
The link it attempted was:
http://users.on.net/~purdsa/Gahzette/lost%ADcrusade.zip
A little guesswork got me an actual file to download here:

Maybe an error in on my end? Haven't updated Adobe Reader in a while.
Looking forward to the challenge.
Nope, error at our end - sorry about that.
It should be working now.

Great work everyone.:2thumbsup:
How do you get into the backroom though? Or is it just for senior members?

Nah, you go in your User CP, go in Group Memberships, select Backroom, and after a few days (the time it takes for a Backroom mod to accept) you're in! And you can experience the full hell of the Backroom!
The Backroom is an opt-in forum, since some discussions can be pretty ... different from the normal ones on the Org.
This edition definitely deserve two thumbs...well maybe more.
Anyway, there's a game screenshot in page 4 and it looks interesting (medieval soldier holding sword). What game is that?

See the text to the left - the game is Mount and Blade.
Should've know that...
The link is broken, btw
