maybe the ones with the almohads are abbyssinian guard and and there not masks.

I see some fire burning. Is that showing the rubble where a wall were? Or you could actually burn a building down?

In Mongol Invasion package, there was a picture of burning village. I thought back then that the game now allow hiding troops in the buildings, but you can burn it down!

ooooooooohhhh Magna likes it! :-D . . . although some of those guys with the odd color combos in their uniforms need some serious fashion help :-P

Krypteia, my guess is the Byzantines with the big ol' axes are Varangian Guards . . . peopled by throwbacks to the Vikings, who were always partial to axes :-D (that's just a guess, though).

Only one thing . . . seeing as how the demo just covers the battle map, I would've liked to see more strategy-map pictures . . .

mizuYari, you can burn down the buildings in the demo if you like (for instance, the mosque inside the walls of the Antioch castle) - rather sacreligious, but you can do it . . . just attack it with one of your companies and they'll gather around it and start tossing torches on it :-D . . . as far as hiding inside the buildings, I dunno.

Looks like they're real proud of the sky- shots in MTW...they are pretty realistic. 80 someting pics in one press release, WOW!

If there not masks, then what are they? I no some races have dark skin, but not pitch black. I really think they could have done a better job with the Turk's colors, although they may be correct, they look somewhat rediculous.
