The plot has resulted in the largest drug haul ever in the Irish Republic. Most of the cocaine was destined for the UK market. It was only discovered by accident.

So if the biggest haul caught has been done by accident doesn't that imply that the vast majority is getting through?

Eco Q: If those bales had opened (I know it's reported that many/most of them were recovered, so presumeably un-opened), what damage could they have done to the poor little fishies there? Any? Just buzzed tuna?
