PLZZZ HELP ME WITH MY DEMO!!!!!!

I am having a problem with my medevil total war demo...The menu and everything loads fine but when i start playing the game everthing is white..EVERYTHING!!! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif

I had this same problem with another game I have called Ragnarok online but I was able to fix it by turning off a lightmap option..But there is no such option in MTW!!!
If anyone is having the same problem or knows a solution plz help!! THX!!

I had a different problem that a few others had. I would get it nearly installed when an error would come up saying someting like "unable to install s$*(%# from here to there...anyway. I just zipped what I had downloaded and and unzipped in a newfolder and installed it from there. I suggest you do the say.

Or could it be directx or the drivers for you video card/sound card? Update those.

Well to know what exactly is going on it woul dbe helpful if you post your PC's statistics and Hardware description

it happened with another game of mine called op flash, it has something to do with t+n wiring or summin of sorts, its just on option turned on or off, not a problem.

op flash you mean operation flashpoint??
my screen turns white to for about 2-3 secounds on the big battles.make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card and directx 8.1.Also make sure your computer isnt just taking a long time to load.

well you see I've done all these things and I cant find an option of that sort where I can mess around with the op thing..Botherway I really apreciate you guys helpin out..Anyway I have my drivers and everything updated (directx and all) and had no such problem at any time with shogun total war..hhhmmmm well I guess I'm just gona keep looking for answers and options that can be considered..thx for your help and info, and if you find anything out on the subject plz tell me..Thank you all ^_^
