The video's nudity, dim lighting and heavy breathing which builds to a climatic finish while the phrase "let's come together" flashes on the screen has been desribed as "soft porn" and a "waste of taxpayers money".

Godfrey Bloom of Britain's euro-skeptic UK Independence Party, said the commission's foray onto YouTube "was like watching an elderly relative trying to be cool: Very embarrassing."

PS Link to news.com.au includes the montage on YouTube embedded in the story. Not work friendly... but it is a government promotion. :laugh4:

Sex scenes in EUTube video raising eyebrows (http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599,22015642-2,00.html)

I think the more sex we have in political videos, the better. I might actually watch party election broadcasts if there was a bit of slap and tickle.

You are not mistaken. It is from La fabuleux destin d'Amélie Poulain.

What a stupid, cheap-looking, silly, foolish clip. The ones responsible for its creation and its initial allowance are to be set against the wall for lack of taste, artistry, and the high redundance of foolishness.

It reminds me a tiny bit of the love scene montage at the end of Cinema Paradiso.
