Hello,

I'm playing RTW for a while now and it makes fun but after some time I allways got bored because you can expand way too fast due to the bad AI in battles.

So, I'm looking right now for mods who greatly improve the AI. I don't care very much about historically accuracy but for gameplay. ;)

So it would be nice if someone could tell me some nice mods (and perhaps also a download link). Thanks!

Well, from what I know the AI is hard-coded, but you can try the Darth mod. Here (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=71)are the forums at TW Center.

Hope it helps a bit!

Battle-filed AI? Then much of it is moddable, so Darth's or Sinuhet's formations would imrpove AI a great deal. Personally I find Sinuhet's more robust and flexible, but whatever works for you. Here are Sin's formations, Darth's are above: Sinuhet's RTW(non-BI) 7.0 Formations (http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=58952)

Campaign AI is much more difficult to manipulate. There are some ways to improve bits and bytes, but I don't know of any mod implementing them, as they require an enormous deal of testing and research.

Thanks, I've downloaded darthmod but didn't played it until now. But it does look very good with this bigger map and much bigger starting armies there so far. Hopefully the AI will equally good. :)
