if I have a America's Army 2.6 disc, is it possible to update it to the 2.8 or 2.81 or w/e it is now, or no?

My best guess would be a yes, I'd say you could upgrade the version.

I don't see why it wouldn't be. Out of curiosity, did you make the disc yourself, or get it somewhere? Since you can download the full version directly from the website, I'm a bit curious.

from SeeMePlay I got te disc from in Setember '06, because I had 56K and.... you see what I mean.

but yea, and I tried downloading it before, but it keep screwing up (I'm using FireFox), so yea,I try it out Friday.:yes:

Well, there is no 2.6 to 2.8 update, so you'll have to apply the 2.6-2.7, 2.7 to 2.8 and 2.8-2.8.1 patches...

Still be a few big downloads for you I am afraid (2.7-2.8=267MB, 2.8-2.8.1=364MB)

You'll still have to look for the 2.6-2.7 one though... couldn't find it on the "standard" downloadsites...
If possible I'd advice you to just get the latest complete version though...
