Fellas.... I gotta confess. One of the things that REALLY annoyed me in my Campains was how EASY it was to tire the AI army and kill them once they were exhausted.

It really bothered me, bacause sometimes I would be expecting to see a SERIOUS EPIC battle. Full stack VS Full stack, a nice mix of elites and non elites on both sides.... and then just have the AI run its men around before the lines clashed. Thus ending in an easy... too easy a victory.

So whats the solution???

CHANGE FATIGE TO FALSE!

Now, u don't have to worry fighting a fatiged army that will rout almost on contact. I :wall: myself everyday for not doing so in my previous campain.
Also this lets the unit starts that EB created do their thing, instead of being affected due to a Fatiged enemy.

My advice to you guys.

Due to the AI's striking ineptitude this might actually be a good idea. The player army is somewhat less likely to run their units 'round like demented chicken after all :sweatdrop:

Urgh, kinda extreme measure.

I always play like that. It evens things out between the attacker and defender on the AI and player sides, making defensive battles more challenging than before for the player. Sure, it makes attacking a bit easier, but the same goes for the AI and makes turtle tactics far more difficult. Anyway, fatigue is entirely unbalanced in RTW, certainly when compared to earlier titles in the series where it was something important to keep track of rather than a nuisance, much like hills and the weather.

Not at all dude..... unless ur playing VH/VH, then its a little extreme.

I think I'd rather try playing VH/H, sometimes you need fatigue to stand a chance, how would for example a HA army beat a heavy infantry army without exhausting them first?

A bigger problem is that it completely destroys the use of a tactical reserve. And it throws the unit balance off since certain units have higher stamina for a reason (ex. Peltasts).

I suppose it is one way to give the A.I an edge, though I prefer either /H, or limiting army strength/compositions.

Btw with the Darth mod the A.I doesn't waste as much energy in pointless maneuvers. If you go towards them immediately they will form up and fight with about the same energy.
