I just really wanted to know what race the green people are. I know they are not the papal states, but they are italian?

The green banner with a yellow gryphon (or whatever the heck sort of bird it is) on it is the standard of the Italians, yes.

You can view the different faction emblems used in Medieval by going to (what ever hard drive you installed the demo in)Program files/ Medieval-TotalWar (Demo Version)/Battle/FacShield/Hires/Chivalric Knights.
The main faction shield emblems and others can be viewed, you will need a program such as ACDSee or any graphics package to view them. If you have the Tga viewer for STW use that.

Check your email you should have a jpg image attachment of the flags/emblems.
The file is approx 350kb hope it does not take to long to download but any smaller and you will lose detail.
