Im very interested in pre Roman Britain, so I was wondering i f anyone could give me references to the details provided about the Casse in game. I cant find anything on the web that goes before Caesar's invasions with that much detail.

My theory is that they have a time-machine or at least a Palantir-like-thingy :clown:
Seriously now, I'm very interested in reading about that too. I seem to have a strange attraction to woad...
Try taking a look in the EB bibliography, stickied above, it may have some books worth reading, but the web is usually worthless unless its popular history subjects, and pre-roman britain is on the fringe. We of course, don't really use the web, which is why our knowledge looks so incredible :beam:

I don't think they'll provide us with Cycle translations just yet. :sweatdrop:
this is a good general book on britain with quite an ethnic slant. it has at least one chapter on the relevent time period, and i believe that may be the authors specialism.

This is kinda OT but what are the cycles and why won't they release them to the public?

The Cycles are a sort of catch-all term he was using to describe the various poems, epics, and histories written in Old or Middle Irish that some members of the EB team (past or present) had access to. They are not translated into English for a number of reasons - many of the manuscripts are in private hands, there's a lot of manuscripts and comparatively few translators, etc - but that does not stop the EB team, as they made an unholy pact with the Devil Himself.

Yeah, that's the accepted consensus. But personally, I think it was Pazuzu they made a pact with.
