something odd

i was messing around with my jaffa mod, then when i went to play it i got some new options that i hadn't had before. i *think* it's like when you're defense in shogun, and you choose formations from some icon on the bottom right...anyway, there was a big red blob on the minimap, and a large white flag, the formations you could choose from are: line of battle, battles column, three line attack, cavalry charge, infantry charge, scorpion, eastern cavalry, east european cavalry, steppe envelopment, cavalry skirmish, three line defence, half square, english, and ottoman. has anyone seen this before? i have some screenshots if ye want 'em. and if someone has gotten this formation selection before, how do you enable it? without doing it my that is...(messing something up somehow that made it do it).

Sounds interesting...please post them up it maybe a new improvement that CA have secretly put in to enhance battles for people willing to experiment with pressing keys.

This looks like the MTW equivalent of the offensive formations of STW, like

Birds, Arrowhead, Crane, Fish Scales, Yoke, and.. and.. wait..
