I finally downloaded EB and succesfully installed it. My disapointment was great when I noticed EB was running very laggy, even on the campaign map.
I started the Roman campaign, and I decided to attack those greek looking guys south of me. It took ages to load my first battle(way longer then loading vanilla rtw battles), and when I claimed my victory, it again took ages to return to the campaign map. The music (which is definitely better then vanilla's) also lagged. After 4 or 5 lagging, annoying turns Windows said it hadn't enough virtual memory, and I decided to just quit the game.
I never had lag when playing vanilla rtw, even on large unit size with everything on high detail. I have a pentium 4 computer so I thought there should be no problem runnning EB.
Does EB require a faster computer then vanilla rtw? Or do I have a problem with my pc?
