Hi first off all I am nto some piracy guy who downloads all his games ! I have bought all the games I own.
Now the thing is rome total war and meadevil 2 disks are starting to get scratched so I was wondering if it was safe to play online were I could just use daemon tools virtual drive which just seems so easy with oiut having to swap disks all the time.
Do you no if the gamespy servers check for the real disk in the drive ?

I don't think you will get an answer here. Such an answer would often be used for piracy, so I don't think it would be appropriate.

As long you have a legit CD key it should be possible to use a loader i reckon instead of your CD/DVD, i have not tried it my self though so im not 100%. You could always try it.
Sorry, but this is essentially a question asking how to do something that is illegal in some countries. I know the OP is not looking to pirate the game, but the Org has a strict policy about avoiding any discussions that could be used by people to aid software piracy. So, even if the question is legitimate and fair, the answers would violate Org policy.
About the only thing we can do at the Org is to discuss whether making a copy in this manner would be legal. Discussing the actual methods of doing it is too close to the line for us.
Locked without prejudice against any poster.
