Those are billmen, and they cut down cavalry like butter.

Yeah the Billmen are great. If you want to use them in the Demo, just go into your C:/Program Files/Medieval-Total War/Battle/batinit/Historical Battles/Jaffa/ folder. Open up richard.adf with notepad. Scroll down and wherever it says "Spearmen" (not in quotations) change it to "Billmen" (w/o quotes). I know this is posted in mods, but its here too for those who didn't see it there. You can also change and add pretty much any other unit they have in the demo, along w/longbowmen.

Oooh, thanks for that, i really wanted to play with Longbowmen and Billmen and was dissapointed when i couldnt despite the fact you play as England in the demo http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
