Ok, this is the right place to ask this: How do I "unpack M2TW?

sorry to say this but have you actually looked within your game folder, if so I'd like to believe you've just missed the obvious ... ;)

he's not the only one asking this. How do you do it? There are pack files, but so?

You have to patch to version 1.2 and then go to the tools directory which contains the unpacker.

not trying to flame anyone, but I hope people particularly on this forum realize that their questions have often been answered too often to bother with it anymore, specially as there are plenty tutorials to go around ...
(yet it happens on every game forum I've ever been ...)

Now I'm no moderator so I have nothing to say here, but I hope you can understand that I'm not about to waste my time trying to do your homework ..

tutorials are great and all, but seriously.. how long does it take to post and say "go to this thread"? not very long at all, and it take quite a bit less thinking than flaming someone for asking what "you" (speaking in general terms of all flamers) consider to be a stupid question. i've tried searching these forums for many things and a terrible time of it. the search feature here sucks in comparison to most forums i've been on. the Google search deal is pretty much the WORST search feature i've ever seen.

Just a hint: There's a decent search function in the top bar (hit CTRL+F and enter search if you don't see it ~;) )
