just a short question:

I found a posting by Kraxis describing all AI personalitys from RTW:
(smith, mao, genghis, stalin, napoleon, henry, caesar)

but now i am wondering: does anyone know what this personalitys do in MTW2?

arslan
alfonso
roger
vlad
wyvadslaw
robert
doge
guy
knud
subotai
heinrich
richard

I found them inside medieval2.exe, directly behind the RTW ones, but I dont really know waht they will do :(

I guess richard ties to Richard the Lionheart (an AI intended for crusades?) and doge was made for venice (maybe it would use more ships than usal).

Any idea? :idea2:

sorry, I forgot 3 of them:

tzar (maybe somethin special for russia?)
saladin (I guess the counterpart for richard)
tahar

all of them seem to work, but I dont know if they really make a difference :inquisitive:

Well it's probably really hard to judge by how the AI plays if there is any difference. They're not used in the vanilla game, are they?
It's quite probable these are included for kingdoms and they may or may not be disabled. At the very least, this should tell us which characters are in the expansion :laugh4:

Its AI characteristics.
Basically the Ai will act somewhat like the person referenced to.
In 1.0 and 1.1, many factions had various stances (balanced, aggressive etc) and leader profiles (mao, stalin etc) but in 1.2, everyone is a balanced smith. I think someone mentioned once that this makes the AI fare a bit better overall on the campaign map, but whether that is true is hard to say.
