somehow, transferring general traits and holy relics doesn't seem to work with me.I do the following : drag the specific trait I want to transfer to the unit card of the general who gets the trait,still it refuses to transfer.Any help?

just do not get it.. i play the game for a long time and never tried to transfer relics??? :sweatdrop: could you people please explain what that is???

it is transferring relics and other e.g. holy prepuce from one character to another ^^

In M2TW there are only a few retinues that are transferable between characters.
I don't have a list of those, but I saw it somewhere on this forum, so if you are willing to search, I'm sure you'll find it :2thumbsup:

Despite transfers beng limited you should be able transfer the holy relics... As long as your generals are at the same location...

so you mean they have to be in the same stack or in the same city/castle?

I am pretty sure that is correct, although I have never tried it otherwise. You have to have one general card open to click and hold the relic and then you drop it on the general to give it too.

If he isnt in the same stack or city/castle I dont think you can open up the recieving generals card, so you would then just be dropping it on the city/castle he resides or the stack.

To transfer items. You have to have the generals in the same spot. Drag the item you want transferred to the other general. Some items / retinues do not transfer.

just to clarify: do the two generals involved have to be in a city? (as it was the case in RTW, if I remember correctly) or can it be done in the middle of the fields as well?

It works in the field as well. Or on a ship or whatever, so long as they're in the same stack. :yes:
