ROME TOTAl WAR mods?

i have rome total war. this guy gave me downloads and i downloaded them mods for 300 spartans into a rar file. Now it's on my desktop and i have absolutely no idea how to put it onto rome total war. Can someone show me PLEASE?

welcome to the forums,

the mod should have come with some sort of installation instruction. If you extract or open the .rar file does it have any sort of read-me text file in it?

If not I suggest you ask the person who gave you the download where he got it from, if he can give you the link to the site/page that might have instructions on it.

If all that fails please describe exactly what is in the .rar file and we'll see if we can help.

P.S. (just in case you're not sure a .rar file is just another sort of compressed folder like .zip files)
