Playing MTW as Russia in Early (not PoN)

Hi all,

I did a quick search across the whole Guild and couldn't really find an answer to this query:

Which files (and how) can I change in order to start a domination campaign in the Early period as the Russians in MTW?
I found a thread where you can easily change a .txt file in order to start an Early period campaign as the People of Novgorod in MTW...but I'd like to start Early as the Russians?
Is it easy to just go into the .txt files and changes some lines?

Thank you in advance.
BTW, I am playing on the VI-version (with no mods already in use) of MTW.

P.S. I apologize if this has been covered somewhere in the forums and I just plum didn't see it. :beam:

Hi and welcome BoyarPunk,
Sorry, but the Russians are not available to play in Early - they only become available in the High campaign. Fortunately though, The People of Novgorod are their predecessors, possessing the same units, buildings and technological tree. In effect, when playing as them you are playing as Russia in Early, yet with a different factional name. Hope this helps you, sorry about my poor explanation, cheers!
