So i cracked the other day

Well i had a little cash in my pocket and i cracked the other day. Walking down the street i saw that target was having a clearance sale on video games. and in the list of clearance games was Rome total war gold edition and i went and bought it so after the installation i became addicted right away. Now I need to ask for some crazy mods for so i can become even more of the crack head to rome.. though i feel back about purchasing RTW again since i owned the original

Anyways need to find some highly recomended BI mods

If you wish to play a major modification for BI, then Invasio Barborum (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=233) may be what you are looking for. In it, all factions are re-skinned, new factions are added and some of the old ones are made playable. You may also be interested to know that many mods for R:TW 1.5 can be played with the better feature of BI. You may have to do a forum search to find instuctions to import individual mods over to the BI engine though.

If you wish to play a small amount of vanilla before branching out to the total conversions, then this mod (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?p=988512#post988512) may be closer to what you are looking for. It's a simple mod that, through advanced scripting, enables you to play as all of the factions in the game.

You may also be interested in this modification. It fixes many graphical and physical minor bugs in the game-play for both R:TW and BI, hopefully improving your gameplay experience.
