modding with vista

i just got a new computer with vista and wanted to change some preferences so i went into the file and saw all it had was the video section i copied i the multiplayer bit for hotseat then tried to save but the computer said i didn't have administrator privileges when i do :help:

Make sure the file isn't read-only.

i'm an idiot :wall: its so long since i changed te old computers copy i forgot i started read only thanks.
