Early Medieval mod, Saxons and Normans??

Can anyone recommend a good mod that represent better the dark ages of Medieval Period? I don't want to see that troops of MTW2 that look like a Hollywood film. Sure we can have Saxons and Normans that look better.

I don't think there's anything out like that yet, at least for MTW2.

This mod is going have a campaign set in Northern Europe set from 918 to 1066 AD. It will most likely include Saxons and Normans(1066 is at/near the date of the Norman conquest of England, I believe. My medieval history is a bit sketchier than my Classical Era history :sweatdrop: ).

There are quite a few mods being worked on both here and at twcenter(some overlap), but most start too late or too early.

It is cool! :2thumbsup: The best RTW mod out so far, in my opinion. THey're also working on a version for MTW2, but it won't be out for a while.

If u have RTW theres always Arthurian Total War, not saxon and Normans but the Saxon invasion on Britain against the Britons
