Conquering All of the Known WORLD!

Hey,

Does anyone know how to continue playing RTW after you've conquered Rome. I've got this sick game going on as the Julii, I have conquered all of spain, Gaul, Germania, Britania, any carthaginian islands, .....etc , I haven't fought in Africa, And Macedon has conquered most of Dacia scythia and greece. I've got a great economy and my armie and navy reigns supreme, I really need and want to conquer Macedon, and i've almost met the VC wth 13 provices left to conquer..Help me!!!

Also each of the families declared war on me, as well as the senate and i had to make piece with one of the familoes or they would have destroyed me, I made peace with the SCipii after i had the peoples support. Now their one city si all thats left in Southern Italy and i want to conquer it but cand, it says i need the support of the people. How can i declare war on them???

Long msg i know, but this is how deep the game has pulle me in, I'm ancient civilization dreamer, wish I could have witnessed it.

Which version of R:TW are you playing?

I'm pretty certain that with R:TW patched up to 1.5 you are able to continue your game after you have met the victory conditions.

I'm playing it freshly installed, where do i get the updates from?

I'm playine the first RTW , RTW barbarian Invasion Gold Edition, haven't gotten to Barbarian invasion yet though, and it's newly installed.

If you have the Gold Edition, it should be already patched up to 1.5.

However, if you have an "original" 1.0 RTW, you'll have to install the patches, which you will find right HERE (http://www.totalwar.com/index.html?page=/en/support/supportrome.html&nav=/en/7/2/). Before you install 1.5, you'll need to install patch 1.3 first.

If you have an "original" (1.0) RTW and Barbarian Invasion, you need to install both. Since BI will patch RTW to 1.3 automatically, you'll only have to install the BI 1.6 patch, which will automatically patch your RTW up to 1.5.

Yeah, you have to get at least 1.5



I was in the same situation, just I did it with the Greeks. I would say conquering the whole world isnt worth it though. When I did it I was like:

"Wow, go me. ........ Jeez, think how long I must have spent on this game."



The hardest part for me was definitely Northern Europe, they really annoyed me and slowed me down. Egypt and around there is easy because they are so spread out.

Hey thanks guys, also do you know how i can ger rid of the Scipii after i declared peace with them in order to conquer rome. I'm way past owning 30 provinces, and they are a nuisance in southern italy? !!

Yea i have the gold edition, so i should be able to play on cool!!
