Ok..So im not real clear on this..i'm nearing the first Roma reform..and all my barracks are maxed out..The questian is..And yes the script is on..Once i hit the reforms will the units show up with them already fully built? Or will i have to destroy them a turn before and rebuild them after the reform? or will thy just show up in the barricks..Is it possiable to keep my old units or some of them? i'm alil conffizzled..

Also..How doz one go about makeing units larger..IE..Classic hoplites..160 to..200 or 240? Id love to make the first roma treirei how ever u spell it larger..i only use one unit per stack...I really love romas early units that look closeit to the etruscens..that thy soooo badly try to write out of there history:laugh4:

I know you'll have an option to build a barracks, even if you're at the highest. Not sure about your other question.

go into the EDU and change the unit size on the unit, the "key" is at the top, so just search for the unit you want using control+f

By EDU Do you mean the data folder and then Esport_descr_unit?

Is this what your speaking of and the Number of men is the 50 part i play on huge so i think this shows small?

I tryed to change the numbers to 200 and it crashed good thing i had backups:laugh4: So please would someone tell What and Where I have no clue what an EDU is lol I seen a file called Edu something and it says backup i asume its incase you screw up and its to replace the Screwed up file..It appers that the numbers are set on the smallest unit scale..There was a tool made for the first MTW that you could change unit scale and size etc..i wish there was one for this game:no:

So Please a dev or someone who knows the Humber for setting units for 200 and 240..

Also There are so many hoplites that i cant make heads or tails what one is the classic its all in greek and thats all chinese to me:laugh4: none of them say (Classic Greek Hoplites) Unless i'm looking at the wrong folder.

EDU=export_descr_unit.txt

The "Humber" is 50 and 60. It represents Normal unit size, not small, and huge will quadruple it. Unit names are found in text/export_units.txt.

You may want to read the comments in the top of EDU, it explains the format somewhat.

Ok Could you be so kind and tell me the number to make them 200 and 240. I think it could be 50 but i also think id have to restart the campian to get those numbers i'm so conffused someone just tell me the number its Certenly Not a direct 200 i delited the number in the edu and put 200 and it crashed there has to be a smaller or larger number to make the units in a current campian switch to 200 or so..i'm conffused helpp:laugh4:

on my HUGE unit seize they will have 160 (4x40) soldiers so large should be 3x40=120 soldiers so 40 is the standard number of a small seized unit

so it depends on your unit seize setting of your campaign when you started it you can check that in preferences.txt also in the root eb folder in the preferences map


beware that you don't leave extra spa c es between en in the lines

so if you have huge unit seize is should be 4x50=200 triarii

I'm not sure that you can change that number in mid campaign I don't think you can

This is kinda sad but the game has turned into a new experince:laugh4: Well its being played like its supose to play now with the script so before the old school turns now something new so the game is reborn for me thats funny:laugh4: Also i love the look of the classic hoplites prepairing to take a charge a massive formatian wall of shields and long spears..drools i only wish EB team would have piced a more pretty shild skin for the Greek classic hoplite. Makidonia has nice shiney scale armor for there hoplites i should think the greeks should get the best skin above the others factians in the game that get this unit..pontos has nice looking shilds:beam: Anyways ty all
