This is designed to be a very large "mafia" game and I hope that you'll wander over to the Gameroom and sign-up.:deal:
We'd love to have you play along!!
Finally, the sequel to the most legendary Org mafia game!
Our good friend Seamus wants 80 players ~:pimp:

And if I might add my :2cents:, if you haven't tried online mafia yet, there's no better way than in a Capo (https://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=89204) game hosted by Seamus!
Mafia is fun, safe, and best of all, completely non-addictive! :hippie:
I have played mafia games before as you might know but 80 players seems too much to me, it was already confusing to read the thread of the first game. Oh and there were so many posts it could take hours to read up. How could I possibly analyze 80 players, not to mention to rather complex roleset.
I'd like to play again, but I don't really want to invest hours a day. If you could live with me just skimming most posts and then spamming what I think, then we might have a deal.:sweatdrop:

The solution is to save the web pages to your local drive to read at your leisure. I'm doing this in the latest TWC game I'm in, and it makes playing so much easier. Whenever I want to focus on a particular player, I just bring up the pages from the relevant period and find the posts by that person. If Tosa will allow the option of showing 100 posts per page, it will make things even easier. In the TWC game, when someone asked me why I was targeting a particular player, I copied and pasted all the posts by that player in my reply, taking around 5 minutes to compile the list. Admittedly I only went through 400 posts, but Ctrl+F does most of the work, while tabbed browsing keeps everything tidy.

I have a 6MBit connection, loading pages is not the big problem, I just spend about an hour reading the Org every morning as it is, having to read 300 detailed mafia conspiracy posts and thinking about them in addition, would probably take another two hours and since I know myself, I'd actually be stupid enough to just do it before taking a shower, thus wasting 3 precious morning hours....:sweatdrop:

Ok, Andres, I'll think about it, but please stop smoking.

I see you accepted my offer...
C'mon Backroomers. Looking for something new? Getting bored with discussing abortion, gun control, the Middle East, etc etc over and over again?
The solution is right here!
In Capo de Tutti Capi II you are not just allowed to, but strongly encouraged to kill or lynch your adversaries if you don't agree with them, without getting a warning!
Ever wanted to kill that Lefty with a chainsaw? Ever dreamed about throwing that Righty in a pool filled with hungry sharks? This is your chance! Let your dreams come true in

Maybe you guys should write something about when this game is expected to start and for how long it will run...
People with schedules want to know. :beam:

Can't resist when my favourite Belgian asks more than once.:beam: ~;)

Good point Sigurd
Here you go:
Game should begin 8/28 to 8/30 depending on sign-up speed and role dispatch time. Any changes will be noted quickly.
I try to run each phase in 24 hour increments. While it is hard to predict any final time pharase for the overall game, a reasonable expectation would be two weeks of play from start.

The first game was so brilliant. The three mafias started by dominating the town, who really were suffering at first, then one of the families was basically wiped out in the second night. To replace it, some of the other guys and I formed up a fourth mafia family, which we then combined with the surviving member of the destroyed family. Another family was quickyl wiped out, then my family and the last remaining one started to kill one another - giving the town the victory.
Such a brilliant game with so many twists and turns. I will never forget Andres reciving tons of votes... despite not actually being in the game...
