Ladies and gentlemen, after numerous requests I've decided to make it public...
My warnings!!!
Yes, I've been asked many times through PM by various members what I've done in the past to make me the Backroom Bad Boy. I am an open guy, whether its my beliefs or my closeted homosexual desires, so I figured I'd "come out" of one of mankinds greatest mysteries; How exactly does DevDav get all his warnings? Please enjoy and feel free to post your warnings as well. Dirt is always interesting.... Oh and remember, this is just from when they started keeping track of your warnings!!! I've had many, MANY more before these!!! Enjoy...
PS. I also edited out the Mods names. But you will see that all warnings were probably justified so let it be a testimat of their hard work they do and the hard work I do to keep them employed!!!:laugh4:

I couldn't possibly get a warning for this one. Besides, I can hardly ever PM since I lose storage everytime I get warned and can't send and recieve!!!
This is a usefull thread and should be in the Backroom. Not only that, but this could be a thread to post "Because you asked" stuff.

But they usually discuss the "borderline" comments before issueing warnings. The obvious violations get the hammer regardless. They do a good job regardless. But its my part to keep them in line, they just don't realise it yet.:2thumbsup:

No, but Tosa has sent me emails before many times. Not because of behaviour, but congrats on when kids were born, you know life stuff. He's a great man. Most of the mods and I have had several offline talks about this or that. If I get into a LOT of trouble in a short period of time, Tosa has from time to time sent me a "Is everything ok Dave" emails. That happens when I drink a lot and he kinda figures it out. Tito is also a strong corner stone for me.

Yes actually. I've reported myself a couple of time. Once for language and I didn't have edit powers at the time, and for a personal attack on either Tribes or Idaho, I can't remember. It was a while back of course, the memory is lost in an alcoholic haze.

You mean there are people here that have never been warned? Geesh I once got one for an inference I didn't even realize had been made, 'til i re-read it about 20 times and saw where someone might take it wrong. Then I got warned twice or three times for one infraction.

Heck, Redleg use to turn me in about once a week for one infraction or another after he accused me of calling his family (ancestors anyway) of being racists - even though I had acknowledged that my ancestors owned slaves ('til like the 1830's or such) and he had to point out to me where he assumed such a reference. The worst part about Dave's warnings is that I never see his posts before he gets warned for them. I only see the censored remants afterwards. I must confess to having a slightly more leniant opinion on "un-orgah" language than the offical stance (a few years of working on Construction sites will do that for you) and some of the names that I have been called may even make Dave himself blush. But as he himself has stated the mods do a good job as there are a few delicate and/or younger people here when it comes to language.

I think that one problem is that context and sarcasm are very hard to come across in the written word. A tounge in cheek snipe can look (and read) like an out and out attack.

Well done on still being here Dave, I don't always agree with you but at least it is entertaining.

Judging by the style of the comment, my guess is the warnings given on 28-3-2007 and 16-6-2007 were yours.

My favourite was the copy editor comment, whose originator can be guessed from his signature. I'd think that our resident daisy grower would have been kept pretty busy by DevDave as well.
