Help!

Can someone please help me. i am trying to add new spartan unit, heavy spartans from here http://www.twcenter.net/forums/downloads.php?do=file&id=1525, but my game crashes or it shows the regular hoplites. . i used the reagular spartan entries in the text files, copied the and changed them. any help is aprreciated

There are instructions at the bottom of the thread you linked to including one to the best unit adding tutorial in the game, try following those. Alternately do a search in the scriptorium for the unit adding turtorial.
