So please don't flame me; I browsed tons of info, including the official forums and couldn't find decisive answers.
My question is:
Are the major bugs fixed by the official patches?
1. Shield bug
2. 2H weapons bug (the official info for 1.2 patch states only the axemen are fixed, but nothing is said about the tons of other 2H units)
3. Polearm units switching to swords when figting a cavalry and thus making the cavalry unbeatable
4. uphill bug
5. Crossbowmen firing in the air during the sieges
6. Ballista/Cannons mess in the towns/castle towers
OR I know there are MODs which circumvent most of those bugs, but are there MODs which fix them, not just circumvent them? I remember a MOD wich tried to fix the shield bug by adding its value to the armor value; are there better fixes if there is no official fix? Thjere was a MOD too which removed the second weapons of the polearms, but in this way they will lose when fighting a melee units etc etc...
