Well???

I know some of you have found the means to acquire our precious game early (whether through selling your souls to the devil or what have you), so post up when its there!

YEAH BABY YEAH!

God save EB and all their droopy-pants'd minions!

I have it!

I will post an incoherent and distressingly short analysis as soon as I am finished conquering ALL THOSE WHO OPPOSE US!

went to eb, and the guy had never heard of the game, he checked the compy, and they had no shipments for it or anything....then best buy says they aren't gonna get the game until the 30th....::grumble::

I could have bought a copy at 1pm EST today but I had second thoughts and didn't bother waiting around the mall until then. I guess it got too overhyped and I was afraid to buy it and not have it live up to the hype. http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/frown.gif

I'm sure I'll pick it up eventually. Just not yet.

I live in USA.

from what i've seen so far, i agree with target. the advertising done for this game was much better than stw/we/mi put together.

I got it today at an EB in San Francisco. Just go to ebworld.com and click store locator and get the phone # and call to see if they have it or not.

However, the turn base interface seems pretty complicated and the text (browish-black color)is very hard to read. The user interface is just not user friendly.
The game has a lot more buildings and a lot more units. The graphic seems so so, I think it is better in warload ed. The infantry looks like zoobies to me. Maybe it is because I have been playing dungeon siege in the last couple weeks, I very much admire the clean interface and mouth-dropping graphics. Well, I need more time to play this game to give more info.

It has finnally reached Des Moines, Iowa, this game is awesome, especially the strategic part of it. DD when you said it was alot different from shoggy, you weren't kidding were you. It now takes more time to take care of strategic things than it takes to fight battles.
A hint to the guys that get this game later: don't start playing Holy Roman Empire, it is so hard that it is not even funny. I lasted less than twenty years the first two time I played it on Hard. But then as Turks, I did some serios ass kicking.
PS: I don't have any problems with the strategic user interface, it is alot better then shoggy, never had MI.
Needed a breather, time to go back in!!! Viva La France (this time) !!!
