First Question..How do you minimize the game(playing at work and need to minimize faster than esc quit..

Second Question..In regards to trade routes how do you establish trade routes and maximize your profits from them..For Instance in the first total war you needed a naval unit placed in each sea sector ..then you would generate serious income per turn..I have played the English and Scotts multiple Times and was receiving what i thought were minimal returns on income level so I think I'm missing something..

1. Alt+Tab or Ctrl+Esc. Either works fine. People might still see it in your systray though, so you might want to hide that too.

2. Trade routes are automatic. Any region trades with bordering regions, even if at war (albeit then at a much lower extent). Roads and markets improve your trade income as do other specific buildings. Ports help establish naval trade routes to nearby naval regions, as indicated by the dotted line from your port to the other. These routes can be blocked by blockading the port or putting a ship onto the trade lane.
