I've completed a Short Campaign as Venice, and chose to play on. There's now one turn left, and I own every province but two. One is owned by Rebels, the other the Papal States. So, presuming there is a total domination victory video (even though I only had set to short campaign, does that matter?), do I only need to destroy the Rebels to win, leaving the Papal States with a province? Or do I need to conquer the Papal States region (Magdeburg) to gain total domination?

EDIT: Having just loaded up the campaign, I've noticed another issue. Because I killed the Pope and a new one was elected, I was reconciled. This meant I've lost all my siege equipment at Magdeburg, and will need to wait another turn to rebuild the ladders etc. This will mean I won't defeat the Papacy within the 226 turns. If I need to wait another turn and beat the on turn 227, do I still get to see a victory video for total domination?

The only video you see is the one when you achieve your original victory conditions (not sure if there is one for short campaign).

You do not get anything but personal satisfaction for owning every province there is.

Thats a bit dissapointing. You do get a video for short campaigns BTW.

Can you play past the turn limit anyways? I thought that ended the game with a loss?

Or is that only if you've not beaten it already?
