I was torn between 1 and 6. "Sunset Slaughter" looks great with all those really bold colours, while "Lines Colide" takes the epic approach. I'm voting for the former though. I'm beginning to find Phalanx screenies a tad' repetative.

What's the hangup that so many have on phalanx action? I guess I'm biased towards skillful manipulation as I like 3 and 9 best, then 8. Clash of the titans is way too bright for me.

My advice towards editing screens would be "tread with caution, or don't tread at all", because many times the editing will be a picture's downfall (at least in my eyes). But sometimes you just get it right. "The Crossing" is one of those times, and it has earned my vote.

I voted 2, nice simple theme we all know, and not too much edited. The crossing and lines collide were also very nice!

"The crossing" is just beautiful. The dark clouds gathering over the silent crossing. The tragedy just drips from the screen. It got my vote.

It was a tough for me between 'The Crossing' and 'Lines Collide', but I eventually chose the latter.

I just love seeing infantry try to break through a phalanx from the front, and with the slight elevation advantage for Makedon it looks like it was going to be pretty bloody for the Hayasdan :beam:

I went for 1. Personally I dislike heavily edited shots, and 1 really captures the feel of a big battle going on, showing the group of Romans fighting for their lives with reinforcements on the way, beneath a sky filled with fire. Plus, I love the colours, and even don't mind the banners for once.

That description of the battle is exactly what I thought, and what happened.

About the banners, I haven't turned the green arrows off,nor the banners, so I can better keep track of my men, but this isn't entirely good for screenies. Would you suggest, in order for me to have my cake and eat it too, is to turn off banners, but leave the green arrows on, and just take screenshots without having the units selected?

It seems like a good idea to me.

I noticed that in screen 7, there is a lot of dust and dirt particles in the air. For some reason, I never get that. Is there a certain video setting that needs to be increased or a certain terrain that needs to be played on?:help:

No, that is Goth's enhancements. They were available for download somewhere, but that is actually the internal version of EB. Those effects will be included in the next release.

Anyone know what the effect in screen 4 is called , which make center of the picture in focus and the sides gets kinda dragged out/blury? It almost looks like you are travling at great speed.
