Ok, I wanted to grant some titles to boost income in my provinces. However, I didn't have any good people with acumen. I had a couple of average guys - the description said they wouldn't help, but they wouldn't hurt. So I ignored them, thinking why do it? Boy, my big mistake.

I got a guy with a couple of "quills" above average, put him in Constantinople, and he doubled my income! Taking the hint Took one of my "Mr. Average's" put him in Nicea, and he increased income 50%. So it seems like just having a governor makes a huge difference - even a low acumen guy increased income 25%. Seems as if the description on the character "pages" isn't really the whole picture. So grant those titles!

Too bad I only figured this out 75 years into the game. Oh, well, I'm learing everytime I start this thing over . . .
