damnit. i keep looking for a warez version... cant find any on kazaa or any sites i know though and that site obviously doesnt work... anyone direct me to one?
im going in to reserve a copy on monday though so it doesnt matter that much. its just i want it now.
as for the size why does that matter? sure its near impossible one a 56k modem but its dead easy with ADSL even with limits on (you just do at end of month)

I hate to see games like this warezed. Yes, it's out there. I wish people wouldn't do that though.
Heck, I traded in Neverwinter Nights (got $18 for it at EB) towards this game so I could afford it.
Small-release games like MTW are the ones hurt most by warez because there simply aren't going to be tens of thousands of people buying this game the way Warcraft3 or GTA3 sell.

And no, I won't pay an outragous amount of money to get it sent from any of the on-line shops....
Oh, and another subject: people usually say "If you don't like the game you can always return it to the store." - No you can't, not in this part of the world.

Despite the fact that getting games for free is cheaper and games nowadays are definitely overpriced (especially over her), i think theres something to be said for buying games, i love the feeling of opening a new game and the excitement and anticipation as you install it, you get a real authentic "new game" feeling that you just dont get that with warez\copied games...
Now, we'd all hate to see great games companies like CA go out of business\discontinue the Total War series because they werent getting enough money due to piracy, so why not go out and buy the game, it really doesnt cost all that much if you get it mail order...
I only usually get warez\copied games if im not quite sure whether or not i want\like the game and if i like it, chances are i'll end up buying it, there are good points on both sides of the ware\ argument, my views lie somewhere between the two sides, i believe there is a happy compromise somewhere between the industries need for money and the consumers need for good value http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif
