hmmm this is something, this is the first time in my life ive ever wanted to be an american, but as a proud brit i would not betray my country.
this issue was raised in another thread, i thought a british company (*forgets name*) hosted shoggy.
hmmmmm i suppose america are the rich ones and paid alot for it to be released there first.
You yanks dont play any tournies ok and dont get good so us brits and europeans etc can catch up fast.
damn and i was hoping for this to be a fresh startwhere all of us started on our bellys again.
oh well...

oh yeah sorry forgot to say, i havnt been here in ages so ive lost count on the news.
is mtw on gamesspy, so you cant play in the nice lobby like in stw (what a bummer)
and im going to pre order my copy from www.ukgames.com. (http://www.ukgames.com.)
will my copy get to me on the 30th not on the 31st ( i know its one day, but i care)??????

MTW uses GameSpy's servers but you don't need to use GameSpy Arcade; the in-game stuff works just like Shogun and all you need to do is create a GameSpy account.
I amn't going near the rest of this thread http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif except to remind people that while CA is a UK company, our publisher Activision is a US company, and they're in charge of production, distribution, and release dates.

that doesnt give me much info, ok the main server is down but whats this tosa server, whats the i.p adress???

download the serverswapper and it will change the IP

once you changed the IP it works like the old server (hm, actually works better http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif )

use the link cheetah has provided,
download and run the file, (its an install file)
install the program to the stw/warlords game directory, (follow the prompts)
to switch servers run
STWServer.bat
which will be located in the stw/warlords game directory,
again follow the prompts,
and each time you want to switch from ea to tosa or back again run
STWServer.bat

I think it may have something to do with complaining..they dont expect the US to look beyond the 'glitze and glamour' (no reference to the vets of the US).
They will get nice reports on the whole from the states.
Have you not noticed how the demands for a patch go up when Europe gets the game...
suppose they expect....after all the American national dish is a hotdog...sheeeesh they will settle for anything 'tarted up'.

thats what games spy will offer, why cant they just keep the good looking shoggy lobby.

Magyar offered a solution...Monsta added forum idea for pass word...they dont need to leave we will and make our own room...why try and remove a pain when you can move away from it and no longer feel it..but think on...one of those young people could one day be the most powerful leader in the world...because isnt a fact that any american can be president...look how many women have been in the job not to mention the non white non christian socialist greats of the past.
