...and the next prob is, i cant buy an english version, just an german 1!!!
and if the first patch come, i hope it isnt the same with the first stw patch!

Koc, you could order online of course. And the reason that we're the dog-end of the release chain is that Activision is US based, and the game is distributed from there. So the boat is on the way I guess...
I think in Holland we'll get a version that will allow english and dutch installations. That was (thank God!!!) the case with previous TW games. Send a friendly guy some money and a beer and something can always be arranged.

damn, if i'd known bribes were being offered i'd have gone out and bought a truckload and flown to england myself and then the 'mainland'. course, i'm not sure what the customs agents would have said during the search of my bags and i prolly would have had to pay an import tariff or something, and maybe even an export tariff (knowing the u.s. govt and their penchant for taxes), so the game, by the time i got it to you, would prolly cost you about $150.00 in u.s. currency, but hey, i've never been across the pond before, so could have been fun ;)

Yeah, I remember Operation Flashpoint, the yankees were whining as 3yrs old girls with a damaged robe! They simply were unable to understand that Their fate on this case was usually ours!
No idea when it will come out in France. But I prefer waiting 1 week or 2 to avoid paying transport. And to have a translated version. The most difficult will be to translate the french words of the game to english here.

It makes me annoyed that the yanks get everything first, but thats just the way of things, i dont think its right that they do, but me swearing and pissing off every yank i meet isnt going to help anything, so why bother...
If people cant deal with a game coming out a week or so later in Europe than in the US, then god help you when life throws some real challenges at you...

This is the number one MTW fan site. So it is a problem if you can't actually play the game.
It is like being a sports fanatic but being told you will not get to see the game because you live in the wrong city.

Only someone who hasn't played the demo and who hadn't loved Shoggy would say that. That's a pretty caloused attitude to take, IMO.
I'm American, and i feel terrible for the sorry saps who have to wait for the game longer, especially considering that for some the company that developed it is based in their own country.

Guys do you think it is better that they distribute the batches as they come off the CD press or put them in a warehouse until they can do a round the world release at the same time?
First batch goes local and then the next batch to the UK. Next batch Europe. Then Asia (which includes Australia and NZ)... which we all know apparently is peopled solely by criminals who can just wander down to their local cracked CD merchants.
Anyhow it costs less to send the batches out as they are burnt rather then paying for warehousing. And to be fair to the various shops in a particular country I'm sure they wait until the shipments are distributed throughout before they are released.

Anyhow you guys in Europe would you like to wait two weeks to get MTW at the same time as Asia, or would you rather get it in one week hot off the press (the only caveat being that the US gets it a week earlier then yourself).
