1 is the best. You got lots of people left anyway. Getting one lynch wrong wouldnt hurt much. 2 sounds good too. I got a feeling that im getting really annoying. I gotta go study anyway. 3 is a bit of gamble. But after accidently lynching me 5 games in a row, you could start trusting me a bit. Im only trying to help the town. Personally all the option is good. 1 and 2 makes my life easier. 3 makes me feel good. So i dont mind any options. Take your pick

I'm really mostly a good endgame or small game player, I'm afraid. THis is my largest ever game. Also, in the rules I use days can go on for up to a fortnight before a lynch which is way beter for analysis.

My hunch agianst woad is very minor;

Anyway, I think the Mafia are probably just going to be sitting back. Theres only two of them and they have 2 kills per night which is pretty powerful. Odds are we are just going to be killing off innocent townies, esspecialy if we vote for active ones.

The way I see it. We should vote for those who are non-active. Why you ask? Because odds are the mafia are being innactive now if anything. If we vote off all the people ACTUALY disscussing things than we are just killing off people who will actually do well at helping the cause.

Having read this however, (or noticing the trend) some mafia may try to become active (probably not straight away, but just enough away from this comment for people to not pick up on them being active). However the plus side of this is, if they are active theres a far better chance of them slipping up and of us actualy catching them.

For that reason, I suggest we don't hammer in on small mistakes by people who are active, and for now vote for those who are innactive. :logic:

That is not in the favor of the townies. Lurkers usually are not mafia as if they were, it would be very suspicious after the first round of WoGs that there is one person still alive yet not posting much either. Mafias are usually average people that neither posts too much or too little.

I personally think killing one lurker is good to get others motivated. Killfr3nzy is a great mafia player and I thought killing had better chance then killing Zorg. Next turn we should go for active players.

Reason why i said lurkers are good is because they save us some time to find out who the mafia is.. Because there was only like 10 active members. So detectives can concentrate on those 10 peoples. Least one mafia and the cannival are in those 10. So if your still alive detective.. Stay quiet. and post your result when you get 2 or 3 guilty results.

To be perfectly honest I still don't understand how someone can know whether anyone is guilty unless they are the detective. So I think it's all just pointing the blame around the place until by fluke chance the townies win or the mafia kill everyone. I'm yet to see any real reason (at least what I consider a real reason) to accuse a specific person.

Or maybe I'm just not very good at picking up the hints.

It's not the stupid posts, it's the stupid suspicion.

Once people start suspecting others for completely minor stuff while two thirds of the players don't say anything, the game is almost won for the mafia. We had that before in the Black Hand or so hosted by Sasaki and Sigurd being Mafia won that without getting any major suspicion.

I make stupid posts myself and some serious ones in between, but something in this game tells me there is nothing to go by and we just rotate between you and a few other perceived suspects, leaving most others out.

For example it's very unusual for me not to vote in one round and yet noone seems to have noticed that I didn't vote last round despite visiting the thread several times a day. Everybody is either idle or circling around one or two suspects.

Maybe it's just the weekend or my own fault for being a loser(not really :beam: ) but this game needs more serious action and participation. Now I also have to admit that a whole lot of the players in this game don't tell me anything, a short introduction won't tell me much about some guy either but those of the newer players who are idle are very mysterious so it's hard to say anything about them, hoping for a a mighty big WoG to cleanse the list of alive players. Yeah, that's a good thing because fewer players make it easier to analyze each one. All the lynching rounds in the world don't help if you keep lynching the wrong guys and we've won mini mafia games with two mafiosi and three lynching rounds...

Now I'm waiting for the next kills, maybe they will give some hints, but for now the above is all I can say, no real suspects so far if you ask me.

Night 3 : To pick or not to pick..

Zain left his tent to obey the call of nature. He slipped on some ice on his way to the nearest tree.


“Ice. Don’t you just hate ice?”

“Yeah.” Zain nodded in agreement.

The raven haired man came closer to Zain. “Let me help you.”

Zain reached for the mafioso’s hand. The raven haired man pushed him back onto the ground.

“Hey!” Zain said, a bit angry. “I don’t feel like playing games now. I need to go, the sooner the better.”

“I just wanted to help you Zain. I’m going to make sure you will never fall on the ice again…”

“How will you do that?” Zain asked.

The Mafioso showed an icepick.

“Ha!”, Zain shouted. “What are you going to do? Pick all the ice away? You’ll be busy for how long? A lifetime or 10? Give me a break. Leave me alone man.”

“Ok, I won’t use the tool on the ice…”, the raven haired men said. “But I will make sure you’ll never fall again!”

That said, the raven haired men swung the icepick. He hit Zain in the groin and left him to bleed to dead…


Roadkill was very upset about all what happened thus far. He needed some time alone. And he was in desperate need for a smoke.

He went outside and made a long walk. Several miles out of the camp, he paused to enjoy a Camel.

All of the sudden, he hears a sinister voice saying “0, 0, 0 …”

Following the sound, Roadkill sees one of the other mercenaries jumping in the middle of what seems a road, constantly saying “0, 0, 0…”

“This seems like a fun game” Roadkill thought.

And so, he also starts to jump on the middle of the road.

Suddenly, the man with the sinister voice jumps of the road as Roadkill gets run over by a high speeding snow scooter.

Pausing for only a moment, the Mafioso jumps back on road, saying “1, 1, 1…”


Garcilaso de la Vega el Inca was glad he survived patrolling into the tunnels. He stepped out the bunker and wanted to go to the kitchen.

“Hi Garcilassssso.” a strange voice said to him. “The night issss cold, isssn’t it?”

“Eh, yes,” Garci answered. “Where are you? Who are you?”

Silence. Garci started to think the paranoia was becoming too much for him. “Calm down, Garci,” he said to himself, “nobody talked to you, it is just your imagination.”

“I think you know too much…”

“Huh?” Garci said. “Oh, silly me, it’s probably the wind. Hehe, no need to be scared. Imagination. That’s all it is. We lynched the Mafiosi, we are safe now.”

The knife in his heart was not imagined though… The murderer turned the knife and pushed Caius of the cliff.

“Damn, it won’t be eassssy to get my trophie. Ssshould have thought of that before I pussshed him.”


Enoch sat slumbering on his night watch deep inside the mountain. He laughed to himself thinking of the easily fooled mercenaries and their captain. He received a pay check without having any qualifications as a mercenary, not even as an armed guard. His resume told blatant lies of diamond wars in Africa, armed guide at Svalbard and hired gun in Kosovo. This was too easy… As long as there was no trouble, he would do just great. The pay was good and the food was great. He had to do guard duty though, but he usually slept when no one saw. What could he do if there was a crisis anyway? He had planned his escape route if the need arose or if they were attacked.

The tunnels were a bit chillier than normal and he shivered a little. Suddenly a gloomy figure appeared in the tunnel. Its voice chilled him to the bone. “Enoch, what is this you have done” it said. The gloomy figure became a man with a recognisable face. “Ichigo?” The expression on the man’s face was that of anger, an accusing anger. “You are a phony… “Enoch was on his feet in a moment and started running towards the barracks. Suddenly two figures appeared in front of him and he had to skid to a halt. Killfr3nzy and pevergreen pointed accusing fingers at him. “You are an impostor…” Enoch bolted to another tunnel but fell to his knees when another figure suddenly stood there. “I hear you have done a naughty thing Enoch” The accusing finger of Tiberius pointed right at him and he felt an intense coldness in his chest. He scrambled to his feet and bolted for the last tunnel that led out to freedom. As he turned the last corner a large figure stood there waiting. “Your time has come Enoch, you will no longer deceive our brothers” Sigurd Fafnesbane pointed an accusing finger at him and suddenly he felt pain in his chest. Enoch screamed but no sound was heard…

The eyes of his body were wide open and a word was frozen on his lips. His life-force was long gone and the mercenaries wouldn’t be able to read the “Sorry” that was formed on his dead lips.



Greaterkhaan was also in the tunnels that night. He was surprised to see Enoch running and yelling like a madman. All of the sudden, he saw Enoch falling down. Apparently, he died out of fear. “I don’t want to go like this. I don’t want to die out of fear. I will leave this place honourably.”

Greaterkhaan grabbed his gun and fired a bullet into his head.


Day 3 : those bad jokes are killing us…


At dawn, Andres gathered the men.

“Men, things are getting out of hand. This morning we found Zain. He had some severe wounds. It looked very painful. The poor guy bled to dead. We also lost Roadkill last night. Apparently, he became the victim of a bad road kill joke.

We also found another headless body. A knife was shallowly buried under the ice. We found it, because some of the blood turned the ice red. We have reasons to believe that the victim was Garcilaso de la Vega el Inca.

The stress and the fear became too much for some of us last night. The early morning patrol found Enoch slumped in the tunnels. He died out of pure fear. Next to him, we found Greaterkhaan with a bullet in his head. It seems like the bullet came from his own pistol and thus we can assume that he suicided.

“Five townies lost! Five good men! Ha! Democracy never fails? Nonsense! You guys get voting, and maybe, for once, just for once, we might lynch scum today.”

Ok back to the topic. It would be appreciated if someone can make some tally because im a little busy right now. If its Shlin vs CA i say CA is more scummy. Also i dont like the way Brave Sir Robin, Sarathos, Twilightblade, Factionheir are playing. So FOS them all.

Andres was busy with his camel. No, not the cigarettes, Andres doesn't smoke. A real camel. Now, what did he need a camel for, high up in the mountains, while it was freezing outside? Well, let me explain. It is...

"Well, I was about to explain, but it can wait. You have a new suspect?"

"Yep, I need a bald suspect, so get this guy's head shaven."

A few moments later, the bald shlin28 was brought to Andres. "You see this camel? It has an electrocution device in its' behind. We have to put in the head of our suspect and he'll be electrocuted to dead. In the process, the camel will die as well and we'll have meat for tonight. Isn't that clever? I bought it at Mithrandir's incorporated."

"I object!"

"Huh?"

Martok stepped forward. "Sir, I object! You cannot kill the noble camel. This is outrageous. I refuse to obey your orders any longer, you cruel, sadistic camel killer!! I rather commit suicide!"

Andres watched Martok. Martok stared back.

"Well, what are you waiting for? Christmas? Commit suicide!"

"Eh, well, I didn't really thought... Hmmm... I don't have a weapon. If I would have a weapon, I would commit..."

The mercenaries all offered him their weapons. Within 30 seconds, Martok found himself under a pile of guns, rockets, grenades, knifes, ... He couldn't get up, the guns were to heavy. Without even saying "thank you" to his helpful colleagues, he accidentally pulled the pin out of a grenade. Five seconds later, everybody was covered in little pieces of Martok...

"Ok, now, can we put shlin28 into the camel?"

Without even having the chance to say a few last words, the unfortunate shlin28 found himself stuck with his head into the camel.

"Oh, I forgot, any last words shlin28?"

"Mmmm, mmmm, crough, mmm..."

"Interesting. Now, where's the power supply. Ah, here it is! And switch!"

A short bzzzzzzzt, a shivering shlin28 and a shivering camel. Some flames coming out of both shlin28 and the camel and within 30 seconds, it was over.

"Ok, get rid of the body. Tonight we have roasted camel on the menu!"

The men cheered.

Night 4 – a deadly dead camel, strangling, KABOUM!

The camel meat wasn’t a big success… Everybody was upset about the killing of such a noble animal and the men refused to eat the meat.

Zorg however, was very hungry and he didn’t seem to have a problem with eating the meat of the rather filthy animal.

So, at night, he got out of his tent, looking for the dead beast.

“Looking for a piece of meat?” a sinister voice sounded in the dark.

“Eh, yes.” Zorg answered. “Aren’t you hungry as well?”

“Yeah” the man with the sinister voice said. “I heard the best parts of meat are, eh, well, where our captain has attached the electrocution device.”

“Oh no, I don’t want to put my arms in that.”

“Why don’t you put your head in it?” the man asked.

“That’s disgusting.”

The Mafioso drew his gun and pointed it at Zorg. “Get you head into that camel, now.”

“Eh, ok, ok, if you insist. I do hope it is indeed the best part of the meat…” Zorg put his head in the, hm, eh, well, you know what I mean, don’t you?

“Guess that saves me a bullet”, the Mafioso said and he pulled the switch. A short bzzzzzt, some flames and Zorg was no more…



Beefy187 was watching the stars. It was the first night without snow and the sky was very clear.

He didn’t notice a dark sneaky figure coming near.

The dark shadow held the remains of Zain’s groin in his hands.

“What’s that strange smell?” Beefy asked himself.

Before he could turn his head, he got strangled with said remains of said groin…

The last thing he saw, was a raven hair falling on his shoulder…


Nature called Proletariat. Beeing the only woman among a bunch of rude mercenaries, she had to make a long walk to find a safe spot to do what you need to do when nature calls.

While she was relieving herself in the torture chamber, the only place where she had some privacy, she noticed one of the mercenaries watching her.

“You dirty voyeur! Go away!”

“I am looking for my knife.”

“Well, there ain’t no knives here, you dirty, little pervert!”

“What a pity! I would have thought there were some here in the torture chamber. But look at what I found! A grenade! Thissss came from the pile Martok was buried under.”

“Oh, nice, a grenade, “ Prole said, unimpressed. “I never saw a grenade before! Oh, you are so cool and sexy. A grenaaade!”

“Do I ssssssmell sssssarcassssm there?”

“You bet you do! Go away man! Sick pervert!”

“Hmmm… Well, I have enough heads already. Maybe it is time for some KABOUM KABOUM!”

“KABOUM KABOUM? And what do you mean, enough heads?” Prole asked. Suddenly she realised who she was talking to. “Oh no” was the last thing she whispered before the maniac put a grenade into her mouth and chained her.

“Now I will try to get the pin out of the grenade with thissss whippy whip!”

Needless to say, our maniac missed quite a few times, but eventually, he was successful. And there goes the pin!

“KABOUM!”

The serial killer, covered in blood, brains and fractions of bone looked disappointed. “KABOUM? No KABOUM KABOUM? Boehoehoehoe :bigcry: ! I want my mama! Thosssse toyssss don’t work like they sssshould! No KABOUM KABOUM! Bah, I want more headssss! The headssss will tell me how to make KABOUM KABOUM!” The serial killer went back to the camp, happy like a child, constantly hissing “Headsss, headssss, KABOUM KABOUM! Hihihihii!”

Day 4 : Long live democracy!

“Sir!”

“Yes, Mister Union! I recon we had a peaceful night, without any killings?”

“Ehrm…”

“What?”

“We found Zorg with his head into the electrocution camel….”

“What? What was he doing there?”

“Apparently, he stuck his head into the camel and somebody pulled the switch. We also found…”

Well, the first and second kill sound like they're done by one and the same person, no? The kills never mention two people but the guy has Zain's groin so the kills are successive. We might have gotten one already.

I am a bit suspicious of Stig for the reason Omanes mentioned, he seems very eager to lynch a certain person.

What GH says about Xiahou might be importantn but I got the feeling there were a few active players in GH's game who aren't all that active here.:whip:

Interesting theory, I examined the post count and was surprised at the results. The dead people were basically the most active townies. We still have three killers.
Looking at the remaining townies with the exception of a few with high post count and when they posted the FoS can be drawn to a small group.

As a dead mercenary wanting revenge for getting killed in the most gross way possible.. I shall continue supporting the towns eventhough im dead (Got nothing better to do)

If you keep killing active members youll find your self in big trouble. Reason of Sarathos having lots and lots of post are because he posted lots of short posts. This is getting too much attention and thus un mafia like behavior from me. I believe mafia was active on the first half and suddenly started to quiet down. So for the sake of game play I suggest leaving the member with lots of posts alone for now. Lynch the people who have posted for 5- 15 posts. The rest of the members under 5 posts can be left for WoG kill.

I would say the mafia are most likely not very experienced for killing the lurker (Zorg) and suicidal idiot (Beefy):clown: .

As to Sarathos being guilty, I am not so sure. The kills so far seem to be those who he associates with in real life, and I highly doubt he would kill them for that reason. However, it wcould be argued we could invoke WIFOM and indeed that is why he is killing them. I would like to hear something from Sarathos.

1. The guy who killed Zorg is an idiot, Zorg is not really that active...
2. From this, it can be reasoned that the mafia is a newbie.
3. Ichigo seemed unusually upset when he was mistakenly lynched (sorry!), but as Stig said, a good townie does not fear death, so he could possibly have a role.
4. CountArach is suspicious, so is Sarathos, but Beefty said that it might be TwilightBlade, as I said before I had always thought Twilight suspicious.

The men couldn't wait any longer and they kept firing at the unfortunate Sarathos. After thirty minutes, everybody was out of bullets. The body of Sarathos was nothing more but a pile of blood, flesh and broken bones.

Sasaki, The Amazing Me and KingWarman were still standing next to the body. All of the sudden, the camel came to life again and jumped upon the unfortunate Sasaki, The Amazing Me and KingWarman. Their heads got stuck into the camel. Sasaki tried to get out, but accidentally pulled the switch. Bzzzzzzt. Some flames and the three men were dead.

"What an unfortunate incident" Andres said, looking disappointed because he wouldn't have the chance to torture this silent trio...

Often times the mafia has a set number of kills per night regardless of how many are still alive. However if we lynch the serial killer or the mafia kills the serial killer than it will indeed be down to 2 kills per night.

An example of this was the fact that the discussion was based too much around me. That was all your own faults, no one had any evidence at all so I really dont see why I was even suspected. Also the fact that I lynched for being active really annoys me, I used to always lurk to let every else play the game and of course I always got lynched, now I try to be bold and active and maybe help out. You might try not to go from 0 to 100 in two games, just surface slowly. Your quadruple posting was rather over the top and thus you generated discussion. Sometimes you also have to try a new tactic and fail, I was lynched like that in Mafia VII. Ok, and I was away from the PC for a day.:laugh4:

edit: and by the way, I was mad about that at first but realized that I might have done the same and noone really hates me or anything so it's all fine and it's just a game after all.
