The AI got me! :)

Ok, I go to war with France - and what does the AI do, but launch a crusade that takes it right through my French provinces. My armies are devastated without a battle as men leave for the Crusade, LOL! Good one for the AI and one I won't forget! http://www.totalwar.org/ubb/smile.gif

I did that too. I was the English and I wanted to destroy the French. I launched a crusade and had my armies destroy the French provinces the crusade passed through in the next turn. Once, I even attacked the province that the crusade was in in the same turn. The crusaders didn't help me and I lost. I destroyed them the next turn though.

I was playing as the Danes and was up against a big army in Germany which forced me to go Northeast to Russia.Before I got
there Someone declared a crusade and marched over and sat down right where I need to go...arrggg.
